Each player takes control of a nation with the goal of building the most advanced society in the known world. This is not a war game; while military strategy is important, your aim is to leverage every resource at your disposal to develop your nation.
You’ll gather commodities, build cities, trade with neighbouring nations, create alliances and even go to war to acquire aspects of your increasingly advanced civilisation such as literacy, astronomy and engineering.
