THE GAME
Sherlock Holmes: The Card Game is a must-have for any serious fans of the franchise. The cards feature illustrations by Sydney Paget which were printed alongside the Sherlock Holmes stories as they were originally published in The Strand Magazine!Â
You’ll be stepping into the world of Sherlockian London like never before for cat-and-mouse contest where players attempt to root out the villains - or escape detection if they possess one of the illustrious criminals!  Â
In a dance of inquiry and evasion, contestants play cards with different abilities which serve to illuminate or obfuscate the location of the crooks. You’ll be trying to discard as many cards as possible to have the minimum number of points at the end. Â
There are big penalties for being caught with a villain or making wrongful arrests, just as there are coveted deductions for making a successful arrest or facilitating an escaping villain. The game is best played in rounds with continuous scoring – we recommend 6!Â
